Dj Nacht
Wow! If I was going to start listening to house again it would definately be Farina! This guy knows how to play real house :D
DiskHO
farina = real house :)
DiskHO
those of you looking for story time, stay home and read a book.....but those looking to dance your ass off nonstop for 5 hours plus... see you on the floor for this!!!

anybody wondering what the music will be like should check out his new fabric mix....then ask yourself how sick that would sound in stereo :)
MR.E
the fabric cd is great for listening but i wouldn't say it really represents what farina plays like live...

and to be honest i dont think this fabric cd was recorded live,
i've been listening to it since it came out... it's too clean!!!

anyway, always a pleasure to hear him play.. with rob brown opening!
not enough real house in this montreal scene!
DiskHO
i agree, he will play way crazier live than on the fabric cd :)

the regular fabric cds are not recorded live, they are just select tracks that he played during the night then redone in the studio. the fabriclive cds are recorded live at fabric.

MR.E
ahhhh ok i didnt know that! cool
DiskHO
it is impossible to capture the energy of mark farina on cd :) it must be experienced live. ive said it many times, mark farina at stereo is the thing that reminds me most of being back at Sona because of the crowd that shows up and the vibe that they bring.
