Me too. I haven't met a single member of the forum, but I had a very vivid dream about beating the out of a male TA a few months ago. This is especially strange for me because I only recall dreams probably two or three times a year, and they are usually about something significant, not the internet. |

I had one, particularly distinct dream, in which I happened to notice SYSTEM-J walking down an alleyway in San Francisco. I was driving by, noticed him, and yelled out his name in order to get his attention. He acknowledged me for about a second, until some inexplicable fear came over him- like he just realized that he was attempting to avoid getting spotted, and had made a dangerous mistake by responding to my calls.
So he quickly turned away and resumed walking down the street, but at a faster rate, and was noticeably tense. I just kept driving alongside him, yelling his name. He never acknowledged me again, but I could tell that my persistence was making him concerned.
The rest (if anything) is a blank.
EDIT: Oh, I also think he was wearing one of those 80's life preserver jackets....looser. |
Bloody hell. I don't know what to make of this. It's especially weird because I can't remember ever posting up a picture on TA. How did I appear in your mind's eye? |

Does anyone here dream about goats?
I had a dream about nachoes naked while he was being stalked by a weirdo at his window. Then suddenly a montie python foot squashes him... montie python feet always end up squashing everything in my dreams.
I had a dream about orbax marrying reverse energy... did those guys ever get it on? Im sure there was love tension between them.
It is like the love tension between a man & a goat; You know one day your penis is accidently going to fall into the goats slippery vagina, but you cant help but to put yogurt on the goats nipples & then get your best Trance Addict buddy to help do a double fisting in the goats mud button. |

Nah man it is not weird.
On some abstract level of conscious awareness you David are connecting.
Think of how the internet is used. Across the entire world you can talk to people almost in real time granted communication is limited in fiber optics to the speed of light, which by our reference frame is 3.0x10^8 meters per second.
A blink of an eye if you will and as you close your eyes to sleep you too can become connected to another abstract level of conscious awareness; where dreams manifest close relationships of current events taking place on earth.
To be metaphoric our dreams are like the internet connecting everyone together in an abstract realm.
The "DREAM," is just a simple metaphoric word used to describe what something is like.
I've had dreams of meeting up with people that have died; Countless entities I do not even know who they are physically but they seemed to be conscientious beings. I've had dreams of talking with Nikola Tesla and other scientist after doing research on them.
I cannot say I've actually had dreams about people on the forums though but to make the connection.
The dreams are deeply rooted in our psyche and our daily perception of the real world around us.
There was this one time I wanted to put this to the test, so I wanted to have dreams of me dieing. Sure enough I went to sleep and in one night I managed to die three times lose my physical body all together only to realize I was a blue entity that did not need a physical form.
Although to get to that point I was shot/killed in the face with a hand gun, I was shot/killed by an AK-47 and then I was pushed into the deepest blackest pit. At the end though I saw my physical body fall and I was a blue entity hovering above the abyss.
Physics states that energy cannot be created or destroy; so perhaps you are tapping into a way to carry on the energy from your daily life into your dreams.
Now if you want you can play Street Fighter 4 when that comes out and then dream of being KEN doing HADOOKENS! !!!
Or if you get a chance you can test out audio equipment in the dream world; <-- This has to be one of my favorite types of dreams
Testing out audio equipment in dreams is like creating music with out strings. Very intense for me at least, and I Try to wake up sometimes and rehash the melody and stuff.
One time I let it all go though and I walked outside of this house into an open area in the forest with a tent and some mushrooms on the forest floor. The sun was just rising everything was changing colors and then the house I walked out of started floating, all of a sudden the most enchanting strings were being played. I felt Peace within a dream.
I really don't know why I wrote all that stuff other than to say that it is not weird for you to have dreams of people you have never met. I think dreams gives credence towards how our psyche is capable of manifesting perception within a purely abstract realm of conception. This is done through prior perceptional awarenesses cultivated in our psyche but then I wonder what happens when you start cultivating perceptional awareness of dreams. hmmm . . . . . .
oh yeah I asked a bunch of people if dreams were real, and most people told me they are not real. Unfortunately I do not believe that dreams are merely something unreal, because they are just as real as you and I. . . Perhaps dreams are a way to give rise to a higher psyche within. . .and with this psyche one must attain acute mental awareness to become an "Oneironaut."
An oneironaut is one who travels through dream worlds and/or explores alternate realities. Another common definition dictates that an oneironaut is one that travels without moving. Moving in this case refers to physical or bodily movement for example daydreaming.
So the flip side of the coin is that when you walk the earth you are daydreaming, but how many people are teaching humans that a walk in our daily life is merely a dream. I think there are some ancient teachings on this very subject, but those have been filtered out daily education on earth. That and having humans stay in fear of death has made them complacent and subject to being controlled by that fear.
Take what people tell you with a grain of sand, and then you can make a sandcastle. That is so rad! |
