Any one going to this? I'll be there +1.

Never been to the estate, since the last 2 headliners came in on weekdays. Whats it like getting in, lines, etc?

I had avalon all figured out, but now its gone. any advice for the estate?

I actually went to buy tickets for this lastnite and they are sold out =/ I know I waited to the last couple days kinda so def my fault - I didn't realize it was this weekend for some reason to the other day heh -

But I've only been there once, and it was a weekday for Ferry - I found parking to be more of a pain and more expensive here then parking around Avalon, but I'm sure there are some spots I don't know about - Got there around 11:45 and was in 5 minutes later - We had advanced tickets though. There was more ppl inside then I figured for getting in so quickly - I have a feeling they'll probably be a line tonite...but who knows I mean it's Armin but they stopped selling tickets so maybe it won't be longer then a 10-15 min wait - Inside, I def don't like this place nearly as much as Avalon, it's smaller too - The sound system is decent but it isn't too loud, especialy if your not really standing in the right spots (You'll def understand what I mean after going about this) But it's better then nothing of coruse so I'm sure you'll have at least a little fun if you end up hating the place even.

By the way, anyone reading this have 1-2 extra tickets or well ordered extra ones and know they're friends aren't gonna come now? Would be able to meet up with you outside the party whenever you go - Thanksss

Just talked with an Estate representative.

They are sold out. But tickets will be back online sometime today she said.

Ahh cool thanks - Yea tickets popped up again for 40 bucks but when I try to buy them it doesn't let me haha - Some message pops up like if there are "***"'s next to it that they are out of stock - Which is what happend the other day when I tryed to buy them for cheeper, but it makes no sence for them to post them again with a new price and them being sold out right when they post them , maybe tryin to sort out a glitch or somethin, only thing I can do is keep checkin throughout the day/night.

Thanks againnnnnnnn

Just got an update:

They're sold out online. They can only be purchased at the door tomorrow night now. God, I hope I can make it. :(

I dont get why the major clubs in Boston enforce a dress code, while it seems like the major clubs everywhere else dont? I mean, i always see pics of people in NYC in t-shirts and jeans, but if you wore that out in boston, they wont let you near the door! thats some bullllllll mang.......

Don't worry about it too much, especialy if you have a ticket waiting for you at willcall. I was always told that Avalon used to have a dresscode too and always wore whatever I liked and have never had a problem - I also heard that The Estate was strict on dresscode so my first time going there I didn't wear as baggy clothes as I usualy wear, but I brought a pair of karkies sp and and shirt with a collar and left it in the car just incase - Ended up getting in with what I was wearing which was pretty baggy pants with cargo pockets with old sneakers and a hoodie heh, so yea it's not too bad...but always depends on the bouncer too i guess.. if you dont have advanced tickets however i definatly have a feeling they'd be more pickey.

have funn, still debating on weather to try to show up early tomorrow or not :tongue2

i had a friend who showed up at the estate to buy tickets around 9oclock and got tickets, so u should plan to hit the door at 9pm to ensure getting a ticket

anyone know who the opener is?
Greggy4202k
Wow, this night was a complete dissapointment. The only redeeming part was the opener, who was blake jarrell. I've seen him twice and he doesnt dissapoint...always plays good tracks and sets the tempo accordingly.

But then Armin came on and it jsut went down hill from there. First off, The Estate sucks as a venue. It seems really small and cramped, few bathrooms, horrible lighting, and an even worse crowd. It was like all the college kids who have heard maybe 3 of armins songs showed up and thought they were at a rave or something. I mean, people were chanting for armin at like 10:30 and he usually doesnt get on till 11:30. I will say that The Estate would be cool to host a private party, since it does feel like you are partying in a mansion, but its def no place to hold AVB or Tiesto (coming in June - i'd stay away from that).

Armin played the worst set i've heard from him in 4-5 years. There was no flow, no build up, and he did more jesus poses then i;ve ever seen, which usually doesnt bother me except he didnt deserve them at all. He pretty much played all his top 20 tracks and really dumbed down his set for all the ignorant college kids. he played pretty good for about 30 min from 1-1:30, and then i bounced cause the crowd was too much and the set wasnt keeping my attention.

Overall, a complete dissapointment, but i wont loose faith, since i think armin dumbed down the set to meet the crowd's expectations. I think thats what happens to all #1 DJ's. They start drawing huge crowds who dont know much about the music, and just want to get people jumping up and down and screaming so they play the same over and over again, and dont try to build a set or play any new/underground stuff.
