It's a sony 3.2 mega pixel. It's like 3 or 4 years old. The pictures come out good because I won't use a flash and time them with the strobes. I have to take about 200 pictures in order to get 10 really good shots like that.

thanks, glad you enjoyed it. A lot of Emjae's productions fall into the kind of music I usually play, so I wanted to play a bit different and leave him a lot of room to bang it out. I played a lot of my favorite somewhat older tracks.

Friday was definitely a lot of fun. I wish i could have stayed a lot later, but we had to be up insanely early on Saturday. I enjoyed what Markus played, but he seems to have switched up his style a lot since the last I saw him at Spirit...he used to play a lot of very moody progressive tracks, lots of melodies...I didn't hear much of it on Friday night. But he definitely did bang it out.

Favorite funny moment of the night:

It was getting near the end of the night and Molly and I are leaning against one of the pillars facing the dj booth on the right. Andrew is dancing near us but looking in the opposite direction. This guy comes up and starts dancing his way closer and closer to Andrew. It's a few seconds before Andrew notices this guy's mating dance, when he jumps back, thrusts his arms out in front of him and starts shaking his head, NO NoNoNoNoNo! And then looks at us with this horror stricken look on his face and points, did you just see what happened?!! :happy2: :stongue: :happy2:

indeed that was scary
:nervous: :nervous: lol

It was a good night, I really enjoyed Eco and Zack's set in the basement. Markus started out kind of boring, but it seemed like at 2am he really stated to rip it. We had to leave early to catch a bus, but that's another story.

Also good to meet some of the TA members that I haven't meet yet.

Easy? I say just friendly. Regardless, that thing went right into the wash after friday night.

I give markus a B but the night gets an A, lots of fun. Not too crowded, good people. It was my first time out in a month, and the first time in much longer than that where I spent most of my time on the main floor. And YES kelly, it sure was nice to see some men in uniform. A couple of them looked kinda freaked out at the whole scene, it was pretty funny. I missed Eco once again, but checked out Zak for a while, really nice stuff. Alter Image was doing a fine job before Markus too. Thanks to a kind sir for getting me upstairs, sorry i couldn't abandon my albany boys for too long. All of it topped off with breakfast and good company. Thanks y'all.

Arrived w/ Ali around 10:30, in time for most of Eco's set. Saw lots of TA's and were introduced to some other regulars (thanks Molly!), though, I somehow managed to miss Big Mike (you must have been pretty deep in the Schulz crowd earlier in the night?) Spent most of the time downstairs enjoying the Eco / Zack / Emjae prog house fest. Personal highlights of each set were "Surin (Quivver)," "Postcard from Alexandria (Jay Lumen)," and "Adventure" (Lifelike), respectively.

I missed Schulz play both Arnej tracks and the Lemon and Einar K remix of "Daydream." Bummer.

I was bummed to arrive to Pacha so late, but I was at the Yankees game and then a late dinner with my cousins. When I showed up, though, the basement was really busy... the crowd was definitely eating up Emjae's tracks. Heard lots of his originals & remixes, and they all went over really well. Nicely done.

I ventured upstairs to hear Markus for a bit, he was playing Twilight and the whole floor was jumping up and down with their hands in the air. Hate on the fluff as you will, but it certainly evokes a reaction from the crowd. Would have liked to have heard some of his darker/heavier sounds, but such is life. The dance floor was very busy, but I was able to easily move around the perimeter of the room. Good energy and generally friendly/polite people. I headed downstairs and did my thing and had a great time. Thanks to Ian and Adam for having me, to all the DJ's who kept the music bumpin, and to everyone else who was dancing and contributing to the all-around good vibes of the night.
