I just heard about this and verified it... what a random venue, huh? And I haven't heard anything about it until now.

| What?!?! That is one of the most random things I've ever heard. I actually kind of like her. The Checkered Parrot in Alpharetta. That's like 5 minutes away from my house. I ate there once, but never considered it a place where djs go. I wish I had known about this. Anyone know why it is there and why it wasn't advertised more? |

She was scheduled to spin along some other DJ I hadn't heard of. I called the venue and verified, and it was also listed on her site.
Too bad all my friends are suck pansies and nobody would go with me :( |

| i agree with everyone else, definitely a strange place for a venue. about 2 weeks ago i saw a banner in front of the checkered parrot about some sort of "club night" or something like that, i joked with my wife about it.... now i find out Baby Anne spun there? weird, didn't see that one coming |

| Acutally I think they have local DJ's that spin every Wednesday night or something. I went there a couple times with a friend and it was decent. Not the typical club atmosphere but they have buckets of alcohol so that's never a bad thing. HA! They even put little glow sticks in the drinks. CUTE! Anyway, DJ Brian Tedder formely DJ Cry Baby is spinning there tonight June 25, 2008. So you may want to take a chnace and check it out. I am considering if I want to drive all the way from Kennesaw or not. Not really feeling it right now. |
