Just finished cd1 twice. What a dissapoinment, for me, last year Another Day on the Terrace was my artist album of the year. This year, he blew it. Crapola is all I can say. I was really excited about this album after hearing back to you, but the club mix isnt on this album, and the version that is here is bland. Btw , is anybody else sick of trance artists milking their fans by releasing albums, and getting them to buy again when the release the real trance version of the songs. PVD, Tiesto, Armin, Markus, Shah, A&B they are all guilty!!! I thought nothing would match the new Portishead album for most disappointing album of 2008, but this might just beat it!....nah

CD1
Track 1: 7/10 Certainly not as good a start as Another Day but not bad
Track 2: 5/10 This track is old and this is not a great version of this song
Track 3: 3/10 Cheesey, sounds like bad 80s vocals
Track 4: 7/10 Kind of catchy, it might grow on me...but cheesy like going wrong....a guilty pleasure
Track 5: 1/10 Crappy vocals and DNB, not trance
Track 6: 6/10 not bad but utterly forgettable
Track 7: 6/10 I like his other mix better
Track 8: 5/10 see track three with better 80s vocals
Track 9: 2/10 Crapola defined
Track 10: 2/10 Vocals ruin this track, just awful!!
Track 11: 4/10 Wait, shouldnt this version be on cd2, its a chill track, cheated again, even on a good song!!! FU Shah!
Track 12: 4/10 Not trance, perhaps a remix could help this one out
Track 13: see track 8
Track 14: see track 3 will less 80s style

well sunlounger and dj shah are 2 different projects. anyways i havent heard the entire album, but heard most of the tracks and i rather like the baleric style he does. dj shah is a fav for me.

'lift me up' (with kelly llorenna, track #5) and 'don't wake me up' (with inger hansen, track #4) are really amazing. the rest of the tracks are so-so, but none are awful. and 'lift me up' isn't DnB, it's breaks... doesn't sound like DnB at all...

i agree on the argument about pointless artist album releases...

i see so many artist album topics these days, while most of these artists not even have a half a bunch of decent releases on their name.

this album is just rushed, although i think shah has the ability to create a quality album

track 13 tells me to see track 8 which tells me to see track 3. I went on this review journey, and let me say that it left me feeling unfulfilled. I give your review a 3/10.

As for the album, it'll probably be as that's the route he has decided to take. I don't think I'll even download it illegally to give it a fair shot.

It wasn't exactly great to begin with..

If this CD is more of the cheesy "baleric" style similar to "Going Wrong" then I am definitely not interested.
