Such a great tune. True to the 70s Progressive- Rock feeling. Is the "Frames" album any good?
Frames is amazing, i would say it's their best album so far (and i love the two previous ones). Easily my favorite 2007 album alongside Porcupine Tree's Fear Of A Blank Planet.

Try the solo project by Panda Bear then. Less obtrusive vocals, bit more electronic feel....

I've played that record so many times at so many parties I now need to find another copy because the grooves are getting worn :wtf:

Johnny Cash - Hurt
One of the greatest covers ever. Especially when accompanied with that tear-inducing video

Great song. I played that video a bunch when I first found it on YouTube.

The Animal Collective is a seriously ed-up band. Their sound is at times so "experimental", with so many fusions of styles, that sometimes don't make sense or whatsoever :wtf:
I love Animal Collective, even the singing. Though I will admit, Panda Bear (a side project from one of the members of Animal Collective) is much better in my opinion.
dig it!

I went and saw Animal Collective live a while back, I don't know anything about them but it was a really fun show.

My friend, I urge you to listen to some of them tunes while ..well...blazed to say the least. The above track had me laughing hysterically for 15 minutes (I actually visualized those "evil bees" and the irony of that image conveyed in such a 'soothing' way totally kiled me)..after coming down the second listen put me quietly to sleep.
Srsly, though....Most of their songs require a couple of listens, it's cliché but I never felt it was more correct than with this music. Not saying it's a complex work of art you need to "get", it's just that once you get used to the flow it really makes lotsa fun. Highly recommended.
I've listened to 'mouth wooed her' while on acid laying in my friends bed and I was laughing for about 30 minutes. I've never been the same since then

Yeah, but what annoys me most is the enormous amount of I have to go through to switch from one cycle to another.
