I can certainly appreciate their coming together like that, kicking up some spontaneous nostalgia.

when u cut back on the "cheese" u cut back on euphoric feeling. anyone who calls gouyella cheese should be shot. some people may think they are smart going in the exact opposite of the cheap synth lines that go for the jugular.. but in reality it just isnt as good a dancefloor tune. less effective. and more forgetable.
these proudcers need a real lesson in cheese. play them some dj sammy etc. cause gouryella is the good kind of cheese. the epic sound was the best. its like people are deliberately making there tunes dour so it isnt labelled cheese.. |

maybe they will work together again and put out a few more tracks?
it would certainly give both alil more respect fom ppl in this community who dislike them now. i still like them both and their styles old and new. |
How will working together gain them more respect? :conf: |

Ferry's set was actually good, he dropped in a few classics like System F - Out of the Blue which always pleases the crowd and makes them go crazy.
And I've always liked Gouryella, wish they played a few more Gouryella tracks. |

| When i went to gatecrasher N.I.C.E in nottingham the same sorta thing as this happened. Tiesto was coming on after ferry but he came a little early and ferry stayed on a bit and they went b2b for a while, i remember them playin gouryella then. i think this was in 04 though. Funny thing was they had a whole set up next to each other because every dj that night used 1 set up on the right of the stage except tiesto who must have specified the xone92 on the left of the stage. |

| Gouryella, Ligaya, Tenshi and Walhalla were all incredible tracks. Although they are classed in the bracket of epic trance, I still think their in a league of their own and have a memorable and distinctive sound. |

Saturday night here in SF there was a massive called etd.POP that headlined Tiesto, Ferry Corsten, and Markus...
Unfortunately, the power company had a grid failure during the middle of Tiesto's set and was cut short....and he was actually have a very good set!
Ferry was also booked to play at the official afterparty at Ruby Skye here...
Ferry played alright...but a little while after Ferry got on, Tiesto shows up....and they start tag-teaming!
Then they busted out Gouryella - Gouryella...
This was prob one of the highlights of my life. A highlight Id never thought I'd see....it wasnt even about the music at that point, it was about the moment....but needless to say, they actually fed off each other really well! And they both were having a great time behind the decks.
Anyhow, just had to say something...and to show that Ferry and Tiesto still have love for each other lol. | +1 epic weekend! :D still think schulz & ferrys set at POP werent that great but what I caught of Tiesto was good and the surprise tag teaming at the after party was treat! like you said, never thought I'd witness this either. Just wish they played longer but it doesnt top Menno's set from earlier this year :p
can't wait for this weekend either, M_nus party then my friends & i's party at 1015 followed by Dirtybird Golden Gate party/bbq :D Dave, you better come out! :whip: :)
edit: pics from etd.POP and Gouryella :D
