After going in 2006 and 2007, I simply cannot miss it. I am happy that I at least got one full day in though. It really is better than nothing at all. :) |

thanks dude! luckily the movement festival this year had a bit of variety and not only TECHNO TECHNO TECHNO!

Before posting what I thought of Detroit and DEMF, I'll post some of my pictards.
the Red Bull stage
the festival was right on the water w/Ontario in plain view
the Real Detroit stage = underground rave den
This was near the Red Wings statium etc. don't think I've ever been to a city w/a MonoRail
Some of these pics almost make Detroit look like a real place and not a run down slum. Don't be fooled

Deadmau5 in the background at the Beatport stage spinning a remix of 'Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger'
Once it got dark enough he turned his suit on and everyone bugged out

the Vitamin Water stage (main stage)
(cloudy on the last day) the space was a lot larger than i thought it'd be
center of the festival at night
I'll leave it to the rest of you to post pics of the other insane costumes people had on, the oxygen bar, the PS3 gaming stations, DJs, and of course, the Paxhau girls haha

o i forgot about the oxygen bar......
i didn't bring a cam cuz i hate carrying especially during long festivals... & i must've have missed the shirts.
I bought a detroit soul tank top :toothless
edit - I also never made it to the real detroit and red bull stage! not my thing though real detroit stage was in a cool location. |

'the way it works is...' >=P
it was 8 dollars for 10 minutes. each station had various 'flavors' or smells or WHATEVER you want to call them! and no they had tons and tons of tubes and the dude switched them for a new one after each use. however, you were encouraged to keep your tube cause if you brought it back you could go again for 2 dollars off. |
