eh.. sad to say but, I think industrial's heyday was the 90's. The 90's is when all the big acts were blowing up and when everyone was hyped about the music they were making. It's just not the same anymore.

Today, we get Filter playing at Durty Nellie's. in June. WTF. still think im going tho lol

I got my ass kicked at the Filter show @ Metro back in '95. It happened during the opening band, DIE CHEERLEADER. It was worth every bruise.

Filter has a new record. It's not too bad. Nothing groundbreaking, but I think it's the best sound they've done yet.

(dismantled is still up there imo, and the new blank cd is pretty good...) but yeah... i was just hopin maybe there would be the chance of a dj that had taste...

There are still a couple of clubs that play industrial but they're usually tied to an S&M themed night... I'll try to dig up the names for ya.

i was there over the weekend. cheap drinks ftw. it's a decent place to go if you want to hear stuff like covenant, vnv nation, assemblage 23, new order, etc...oh and they always have weird movies playing behind the bar.
