Working with long vocal clips in Logic 8?

| Anyone have any tips? I'm having trouble getting the a vocal clip to "sync" with the beat. I think the key is supposed to be using markers in the sample editor, but I have no idea how to do that. Any help or general advice on this would be much appreciated :) |

| cut the vocals up in smaller parts.. its way easier than trying to get a whole a capella to fit, especially if its from a non-electronic artist, they tend to have trouble keeping a steady beat hehe.. |
