How long did Armin play for?
Gerard did a fantastic job of ID'ing the 4 hours he played the very next day in NY.
His last hour was bonkers as always. Will post the tracklist here once I get it cuz I'm too lazy to look around 15 pages of reviews. |

Only caught like 1-2 hours of this thing, since security called the cops on me and arrested me for "disorderly intoxication". I guess I was pretty smashed. I kept coming up right to the front, I barely remembered giving AVB like a $20 and he looked pretty confused. Security kept pushing me back and then finally somehow they kicked me out, but then i jumped back in and then next thing i know the cops grabbed me somehow. I didn't hurt anyone, but I guess I was having too much fun.
Those pigs arrested me right in the lobby so if any of you saw a brown guy in a blue and white shirt, his vacation from fri nite to sunday was ruined by sitting in the county jail on 12th street.
Pretty pissed I missed a good party. I was soaking wet from the rain that started. I was staying at the beautiful National hotel down the street, and I could hear the beats blaring from the Surfcomber during the daytime, and basically just waiting it out until the bigger DJs would come on later.
Missed Hernan Cattaneo as well. What crappy vacay..judge gave me a "withholding ajunication" or whatever and at least I didn't have to pay anything. From whatever I saw, the ppl seemed cool there.
Now I have to UPS my wallet, shoes, belt and watch from 1100 Washington. I totally underestimated the cops...not like Toronto at all. Toronto cops would have just kicked me out with a warning and not bother to arrest, but i guess the south beach police are just jerks. I was really looking forward to partying with you all as everyone seemed up for it.
I'm still very pissed this happened. |

were you the douche that kept trying to storm the front of the booth? yea, you shouldn't do that. not anywhere. i was at the booth when security grabbed someone and pulled him away because he was being obnoxious |

He's great!! They should have showed him how they use the baton and plunger the wrong way down. lol
Ya pretty much South Beach police tolerate alot of bs. Just not from Canadians. hahahaha I love that story it's like he kept saying why he got arrested but didn't understand why they did it. lol

It's real simple, the cops don't bother you if you're not doing anything wrong. They are not "pigs" for arresting you for the trespassing and disorderly intoxication you showed them. IF they were "pigs" they would've most likely gave you three charges for what you did:
1. Disorderly Intoxication
2. Trespassing on private property
3. Resisting arrest (and maybe even resisting with violence as most drunks do, after all it is their word against yours)
Why travel that far to act like that? You can do that anywhere you want in Canada without the hassle of buying a plane ticket or staying at a pricey hotel... |

Maybe that was me? Was the person holding a blue sports bottle? Then it's me and yeah to the other person, I was ONLY running on Skyy and Smirnoff vodka the entire day. I didn't do any drugs. I guess I was too excited. I was remembering how on other events I could get that close and not get in for it.

Really eh? Ever consider how it was Independence Day and many other ppl were getting wrecked too? Not to mention the supposed "#1 Trance DJ" in the world was coming?
Lets be honest here, there were probably other ppl there that were most likely on coke or e, so when you say that I am what's wrong with the scene, you're talking half of the crowd there. I was on vacation, got too wasted, acted a fool, and got arrested.
I am what's rigth with the scene, I buy mix compilations, singles, and i don't get what's wrong with coming up to the DJ booth. I remember Sasha was spinnin at Guv and I tossed my GU 13 Ibiza cd booklet on a vinyl deck. The guy signed it and gave it back.
I also saw Deadmau5 in I think April. I was right behind the DJ Booth and I even told him to play a song which he did later on.
Get the hell out of here. |
