So what do you all think? Do you think that if American pop radio hear's the whole Ferry Corsten/Funk Einsatz thing it will become the next Sandstorm trance hit that will be put on a DJ Skribble CD?

| Certainly HOPE NOT.......the difference if it happens....between darude and ferry.....is that ferry's songs don't use the same riff like darude's songs. |

punk is cool, its catchy and although it is kinda commercial, it still has that strong foundation to it.
if it gets on the radio i wouldn't actually mind because we all know ferry isnt commercial trash |

| I am not a huge fan of Punk and I highly doubt it will be played on American radio ... it just doesn't have the catchy cheesy crap riffs of Darude or 'happy poppy' vocals like the MTV generation likes to hear |

| In Chicago there is only one station that plays half as dance and the occasional trance. The trance they do play...they do play out. Here it isnt punk (yet....) but it is the 'Dance Valley Theme 2001.' Everyone that never heard that or heard of Ferry was calling and asking about. It hit number one on the nightly nine at nine.....and is on the verge of being over played. That pisses me off. I love to start parties with that song. I never want to be known as a DJ that plays ty american radio tunes. I swear if trance goes mainstream....I am off like a prom dress. I still love the fact that this is still underground and not to overly played out. |

1st of all, NO song will ever get as played out as Sandstorm ;)
2nd of all, even if it does get played out, Punk will still be a good song, through and through. The Cosmic Gate remix of that track can't be beat, IMO.
Besides, even PvD used to play Sandstorm b4 it "blew up." Everyone is so quick to knock songs like that, but if it gets people moving their asses....let it be |
