RED, LA’s first true underground, infamous for their hassle-free friendly atmosphere took over Circus Nightclub last Saturday like they had something to prove. - And they sure did!!! . RED fans fashioned their RED shirts as Anthony Pappa’s progressive tunes filled the venue with the notorious RED vibe.
If you were looking for a “down to earth” party where everyone seemed to know your name, RED was definitely the place to be!
RED would like to return the love by hosting a “THANK YOU” party this Saturday May 31st. RED-LISTED patrons will receive FREE admission before Midnight. RED and CIRCUS will also lighten up your bar tab by providing an OPEN BAR on certain drinks for the first hour. (From 9PM to 10PM)

On a serious note, they need to fix the whole guestlist situation also. Since Circus employees started working the line and not RED peeps, getting people in before the cut-off time has been a complete joke...They are very slow at checking names off. Don't alphabetize the guestlist list for employees who can't spell. :wtf: :wtf:
There was not a line when we got there and it still took over 15 minutes for us to get our tickets. We had friends that were in line by 9:55 and had to pay because the line was moving so slow and they did not get in until 10:20...seems like they purposely move it slow so they can make more people pay at the door.:mad: |

Yeah, if we get there at 9, will we get in on the guestlist by midnight? :conf:
I have to believe that the guestlist line is being held to make people pay also...of course, it completely backfires since people get so pissed off that they waited 30 minutes in line to move up 10 people! Instead, they could have been inside happy, drinking and forking over twice as much money to the club.
I remember back when Spundae was at Circus, this guy resembling Dick Clark would come out with a roll of tickets and say "who's guest list are you on tonight?" As long as you said a real guestlist name, he would just hand you tickets! I always appreciated that, was happier inside the club and I'm sure that I spent twice as much and had twice as much fun just because somebody was being nice instead of trying to rip me off! :) |
