it will be great games to watch: my country against Italy, France and Romania in Group C.
next week on Monday and Friday that will be the most important ones for our Oranje (Orange) team.

Watching on big screens here in a bar on Monday against Italy.
On Friday watching with more than 60 people on a big screen the game against France in the garden at a friend's place in a huge tent. |

have not.
just finished watching the germany-belarus game as well as the germany-serbia game a few days ago... we are getting a lot of chances on offense (against obviously not great competition) which is good but converting on too few. kuryani is blowing my . mother****** cant even accept a pass without ing it up. ballack is playing at a very high level at the moment. klose looks good too. podolski needs to warm up. our defense on the left side is really messing up big time and im sure itll cost us a couple of goals during the euro cup. hopefully lehmann can save the rest but his positioning doesnt look to good either. he had a REALLY nice save against belarus though so hopefully thatll build his confidence. we're sure as hell gonna miss schneider too. :(
all the boys just need to play together a bit more and i think we'll be okay... but i sure as hell hope we dont lose the first game against poland and then lose our confidence and not even make it out of the first round again. its been 12 long years since we've even won a euro cup game. if we make it out of the group stage i think we'll be safe until the semis. if we go that far, the confidence will be there and we should be looking good, so at that point theres no reason we wouldnt be able to take it all.
on a side note... i also just finished watching "deutschland: ein sommermärchen" which is a movie that got released in germany with lots of footage from the 2006 world cup from inside the locker rooms and player interviews, etc etc... anyway the point is, that ing lose to italy still breaks my heart so...
i want italy and germany to make it all the way until the end... revenge motherf*ckers... revenge! |
