Wishful thinking that someone will post on here....

i went on the sunday. objectively, i probably shouldn't have enjoyed it. the whether was , the chems & pendulum were cancelled (live stage area was flooded) and just about every dj i saw seemed utterly incapable of mixing properly (i lost count when it came to trainwrecks)

i enjoyed it all the same though.. although drugs may have played a part in that :stongue: but either way, was a decent turnout, most of the tents were nicely set up & there was a pretty solid festival atmosphere. preferred it to the last global gathering i went to

I went at about 10pm on the Sunday since it's only a 25 minute drive away. We managed to haggle the ticket price down to £20 since we showed up so late and the live stage was closed (weren't even bothered about this, I've seen the Chems live before anyway.) We set up camp for the night in the Turbo tent for most of it. Tiga in particular was absolutely superb and worth the trip alone. Brodinski on after was also really really good.

Reluctantly popped out for an hour or so to see Oakenfold in the Crasher tent as well, as my mate had never seen him before. I'm still having trouble admitting it but he was actually pretty good. Seven Cities was a nice touch - He played that the first time I ever saw him 8 years ago so it was a bit of a goosebumps moment for me to hear it again.

A surprisingly decent night - Hardly got any mud on my trainers either. Bonus.

heh, i was pretty much the opposite. stayed in crasher most of the night besides being dragged out to see tiga after hooking up with a random :p

quite enjoyed his set i'll admit. there was one awesome tune that stuck out in my memory; it had a vocal hook that went "everytime i look into your eyes i see the future".. which set bells ringing but a search yielded no results alas. don't suppose you have an ID on it?

oakenfold was indeed surprisingly rather good. a few cringeworthy transitions as expected but pretty much spot-on tunewise

The guys over on the Tiga messageboard reckon it's one of his new ones. Brilliant track, will definitely be keeping an eye out for it.
