need help buying a controller

| Hey i did some research when i got my last controller but been busy of late ,I had a edirol pcr for like 3 years but now like half of the keys stopped working ,i took it to get fixed but if they want too much im thinking i may just get a new one but different brand ,which controller would you guys recommend that wont break or stop working in a few months? |

| if you really want it to last, get a yamaha keyboard of some kind. they're built like tanks. infact, indiana jones was going to hide inside one to escape the nuclear bomb, but the fridge was closer. |

Mi mate,
My Edirol PCR had the same problem. Pretty much overnight, half the keys stopped working. I ended up buying a new keyboard but I'd love to know how you get on with getting yours fixed and how much it cost. I still have mine boxed up and would be happy to start using it again if it can be fixed. |

| i got an x-board 25 and it works fine for two yrs by now... if your a keys player i would recommend you the x-board 49 its not that expensive and does the job... |

| Lool I have had my PCR 30 for a bout 3 years and its lasted fine! You guys must be rough with your gear hahaha!!! |

I'm wondering the same thing actually, I'm really after something to do my DJ sets with more than keys, but I'm looking at the Novation remote SL series... I notice they haven't been mentioned here, does anyone have an opinion on these at all?
I'm a little worried about the fader length, since its no where near 60mm and I can't find specs saying exactly what it is:nervous:
But I hear novation keyboards have great feeling keys so if thats what your after, maybe you should look into it. |
