I like it....also there is a reason there are some older tracks.

Disc 1 is entitled Fast Forward and disc 2 is rewind.

I will be getting the promo next week. I will let you know how it is once I listen :D
makes no sense to me.. He didn't fast forward enough and he rewound too much.

Not digging cd 2 at alllllllllll.......

i enjoyed vol 1 and 2, #3 looks pretty good judging from the tracklist, i wouldnt mind picking it up.

Looks quite good! As they stated on their website, disc 1 is more upfront and disc 2 more looking back - no illusions there. Anybody thinking this is gonna be a comp of all white labels and unknowns should look elsewhere - or make their own frickin mix for that matter.

I'm really looking forward to this CD too... and not coz my remix is on the tracklisting. ;-)

I absolutely love the Night Music volumes. Can't wait to get this one.

if armin would have put out a cd like this he would have been flamed to death...

and now its all hail and peace, although half of the cd is old music already, and overplayed by the likes of above & beyond and such.

Doesnt matter though as to me it looks pretty good, but it irritates me that if a top 10 DJ would release an album like this it would be labelled as commercial cow milking bla this bla that, and now its all good.

armin's CDs often get flamed because they compress four times as many tracks on a single CD as Steve has put out on a double disc compilation ( at least the ASOT series, i'm not even talking about universal religion). There's no sense of flow, just constant transitioning and mashing. Also, Armin has a weekly show that plays all of the tracks that end up on his CD, so the CD is really no surprise when it comes out - we all already know what's going to be on them. Steve's track selection is more of a surprise. Granted, some of the tracks on his compilation have been around for a while but it's still interesting to see what kind of stuff he picks for the tracklist. With Armin's mixed compilations, you know whats' going to be on them months ahead.

apart from his radioshow not one of your arguements is true...

universal religion: 12 tracks on 1 cd
asot 2007: 12 or 13 tracks (dont know) on one cd

your are obviously mistaken with his yearmixes.

and the only surprising thing about these cd's is the amount of already released and old tracks...

This CD has a lot more quality control than ASOT's so that's one reason why it's probably slightly preferred to those Armin comps. Armin's CD's are about labelpolitics and collegue-producerwhoring. This compilation transcends all that.

Secondly, Steve only puts out 1 compilation a year so for his fans this is a nice surprise. Armin puts out at least 3 CD's per year.

Someone's just a wee bit disappointed the new MUNGO isn't featured on the album.

Stino
not released yet, so didnt had a chance of getting on this comp, and btw, its only allowed to get whored by Armin so ....

and it was just waiting for you to post such a comment, so extremely predictable.

I second those points. Especially the quality control concept.
