i've never been able to come out for any events in NY since the last train back to my mom's house leaves at 1:20am and that's just too early for most shows. but it works kind of awesomely that this is a daytime/evening event... especially since my flight leaves at 6am the next morning.
would be cool to meet more NYTAs! |

i'm going to be heading out for this in just a little bit as well.
everytime i see three he has rocked it. and i'm very eager to see Matthew Dear.
This will definatly be a good way to kick off the summer. I haven't been to an event in a long long time.
i'll be wearing a "Fish and Chips" shirt if anyone wants to say Hi or buy me a drink as well....................... :p |

| Ended up coming late (8pm) and they were charging $30 a person to get in. I asked the dude how long they were staying open till. He told me 11 or later. I knew he was full of so we walked down the block to the Long Island piers and chilled on the pier listening to the music and watched this awesome storm come over the city.....I got some pretty cool shots which I will post later. It started raining like hell so we ran back to the car to put my camera away and by then it had let down a bit.....so we said screw it and decided to try to get in. The dude was cool this time and let us in so we got to catch the last few tracks. Wish we could have gotten in earlier but I'm also happy I got some good shots of that storm. :toothless |

Had a really nice afternoon...
Got there around 4 and left around 8.
I really liked the set up.
It was so hot when we first got there but luckily we discovered the misting fence by the picnic tables. Sitting under a constant mist helped cool us off.
Really enjoyed Three's set and was sad to leave in the middle of Dear's set but we had to take the train back to Bobby's and I had to catch a flight back home at 7am this morning.
Ended up a little drunker than I intended but it was worth it for the fun that was had. :) |
