Agent K & Bella - Sierra Leone (The Phat Riders remix)

I was browsing for some breaks and came across Sierra Leone.

ing epic track.

Ironically, as of late, I have been thinking that I am not finding the mind blowing tracks I used to find in the past, like Yunus Guvenen material, Hybrid stormers (though their last album is awesome) or even gems Digweed would drop in livesets and compilations.

The closest thing I found lately to a track that really struck a chord with me was Robert Babicz' Dark Flower track, a real gem.

But Sierra Leone Riders' mix blew my mind and I cannot get enough of it. I believe it actually came out some time in 2007 but maybe this remix is '08, I dont know. Another thing I don't know is why the hell the track is titled Sierra Leone, but since when did EDM track titles make sense.

The bass is so heavy and the beat so fat, which makes it a great party song along w/ the active synths all over the place. What really makes the track peak time though are the occasional piano keys and vocals.

Anyone else a huge fan of this track?

i like this mix, but i actually prefer both the lunar shift & original mixes slightly more. they're all good though, i've been an agent k fan for a while so i was happy when this came out, it's a really solid track. if you like this, there's a bunch more i could recommend to you. florida breaks is my favorite genre and if you liked this i could give you many more artists to check out at least.
:D

hey josh rising, any artists you can recommend to me would be much appreciated. Just for guidance in the kind of sound i like, along with this kind of a song, I am a fan of:

Hyper, Meat Katie, Lee Coombs, Elite Force, basically bunch of the artists associated with Lot 49, Finger Lickin records material, and generally (i guess its called Florida Breaks) uptempo, chunky bassline, aggressive breaks. Especially the kind w/ uplifting melodic elements like Sierra Leone.

On a side note, are you aware of some good progressive breaks (does it still exist?) producers like Shiloh, Digital Witchcraft, Hybrid, some Derek Howell stuff, and the like?

Thanks
