You guys are in for a treat. Sean turned out a dope 3-hr hard-pounding euphoric set at Pacha São Paulo last night. It was a great night, and at the end of his set he could be found on the floor near the stage talking to folks. Spent a few minutes chatting with him, totally down to earth dude. Asked me why I would move back to the US (SF)...he sever he never would go back. Well, I understand, if you want to produce like he does, well, it helps to be in Europe. Last thing, I told him how I really wanted to go from being a occasionally performing/bedroom DJ to just produce 1 track in my life. His response "Well what's stopping you?" Coming from a guy has produced so much in the last few years, you have to just head that advice. Probably many of you are in the same seat. Anyways, he mentioned his gig coming up in SF in July and is really looking forward to it...so, have a blast you guys.
I asked Sean about playing A State of Trance 400 w/Armin (which I determined to go to), and said he's been DJing so much he needs to really get back into the studio...Let's hope so!
Oh last funny thing...a girl came up to me right after, I guess she heard me speaking English with Sean, and said to me in English "Congratulations, it's all about you!" I only responded..."Uh, thanks, but I think you probably want to be talking to this guy (points to Sean).
Sean, if you roam around TA, thanks for a good night, and have fun in SF and your later dates!
