Sony MDR-7509HD are crap

Recently I've had the misfortune of getting a whole whackload of stuff stolen from me, including (old) laptop, 80gb ipod, panasonic slr camera, some music.

But the worst past is getting my old Sony MDR-7509 stolen ... the new "better" 7509HD are ing gay. I'm depressed. They give me a headache. And I cant find a (local) Canadian store to order the ol' 7509's from.

Luckily I keep good care of stuff and I did not get my DJ equipment / records stolen ... those thieving c*nts.

Anyone else had the misfortune of getting the 7509HD? Buyers beware!

Biggest problem I've had with the headphones is literally the lack of quality. Too fancy - too many little speakers set up all over the place inside the muff, some are so distant it really affects your listening pleasure. The bass is weak.

Hell no! MDR-7509's are waaaaay better than 7506's. BUT, MDR-7509 are much better than their newer "more advanced" model MDR-7509HD. Which I am trying to warn about ...

you cant even compare the 7506 and the 09... different quality, different shape, different feel

sure, i like the 06s as well and would recommend them to anyone, but once you have found your cans, you've found your cans.

but saying to someone take the 06s over the 09s is like saying take a 5 megapixel camera over a 10 megapixel camera

amazon appears to have the 09s (non-HD)

I don't trust the SONY brand at all. My old headphones, 500s, broke 5 times in 5 yrs. Good thing I got that extended warranty! I had a sony amp that was constantly shorting out and was eventually replaced for a Yamaha. Discmans sucked and always skipped.

They are makers of inferior-style electronics.

Oh and everything they make looks cheap and ty.

OK, I figured out the problem ... its NOT with my new MDR-7509HD anymore. I tested the headphones on my Pioneer DJM-800 at my yesterday's house party and I must conclude my experience in one word - WOW. Focking amazing sound. Better than the old 7509's that I lost/had stolen from me. It turns out the problem I had before was with my inferior quality music player. Cant blame the headphones for that.

Problem solved!
