How do I make this sound

| You always hear it in the background of trance music. It sounds like air rushing passed a mic. usually it helps build up a track. Im using reason 4 and cant find that sound. Does anyone know? |

White noise, pink noise - most synths will let you do what you want.
Reason I guess you could use the subrtractor. Under OCS 2 is a thing that says noise, click that button and turn up level and stuff.
I don't even have reason and I figured this out by looking a picture so there is prolly a better way to do it. |

open up malstrom
select the pink noise wave form
put sustain at full.
make filter is activated and that the sound is passing through it,
select the lp filter
move the filter up and down....(while pressing down a note) |

| hmm ok I've loaded that sound up. Pretty similar to what I was talking about. I guess I need to play around with it to learn to use it properly. thanks for your help guys |
