Automatic updates never downloads 4 gigs..ever.:conf: :conf: |
ok i exaggerated. It uploaded past the monthly allocation. And he's in Germany.
I heard some companies in the US are starting to give new clients "options" of paying for certain amounts of mb/gb upload/download per month at different tier levels. I hope this is just a fad, because without unlimited uploads/downloads, I'm ed everytime I upload a WAV file to get mastered. |

Ha, welcome to the wonderful world of 'Australian Internet'
I pay $60 a month for an ADSL2+ connection (It's fast. 'technically' a 24MB account, but we're in Australia, and everything else on the internet isn't, so speeds are not what you would get in the US/Canada...lame...) and I get:
10 gigs download during peak time (12:00 - 22:00) and then an additional 20 gigs for off-peak time (12:01 - 11:59).
PER MONTH.
Fuuuuuuuuuck that sucks. |

I'm paying $70 per month for 1500kbps/256kbps on normal ADSL.
20gig of downloads - no specified "peak" or "off peak" time, and no upload limit whatsoever.
I'm reasonably happy with what I have, though it would be nice to get 5MB a second like they do all over Europe, and for a quarter of what I'm paying. |

| it is only a matter of time before a small amount of people who have never really attended a quality first aid course actually picked up that on the fact that this is an incredibly amazing sentence that is not exactly what is it is intended to be because of the fact that it was meant to be finished before it had even started at the beginning!! |
