I was surprised Dave remembered me after 2 and a half years. He said he remembered the time I opened for them in Austin and I kinda had a loss for words.
Dave: "So what have you been up to?"
Me: "Well uh..I kinda got caught up in this skydiving bull.."
Dave: " Haha, oh right yeah well.. thanks for checking in man. Good seeing you again."
I went on to ask him about the story with him and Josh...while my better judgment says he would not want me posting that conversation verbatim, I take it the story isn't too much of a secret. I had no idea I told him I was crushed to hear about it and that I'd always be a fan.
Anyhow, he played a good set and it was worth the money I spent. :) |

I thought it was decent. I really wanted to take friends there since they'd never experienced any sort of "EDM" related event. Mano Grillo didn't pound the congas as hard this time. He rarely played last night. |
