Really enjoyed this, cheers for the share.

Always thought about toying around with the 303...seems like so much fun.

You guys think an average of $150 on ebay is a rip?

I know they're extremely dated but I think for someone less technologically advanced it would be good.

I'd want something really amateur, something to drop pocket change on to mess around with for s and giggles every now and then.

That's awesome, great post :)

i like the idea of this, and at first glance i thought the video was pretty cool, but the more i listened to it the more i realized it was 10 303's playing a bunch of random inharmonious bleeps for 30 minutes to a drum machine. 10 303's, especially when they're not playing in the same key, or at least complementary bassline/melodies, is overkill. sounds pretty awful at some points.

also, lol at the lone raver in the front going nuts to what could be described as a dissonant cacophony of noise to the beat of a kick.

once again, i respect the notion, but i think (especially with the reputations of jori hulkkonen, jussi pekka, etc etc) it could have been done much better.

Yeah, but i think it was unplanned mix of sounds...

yeah after posting that i realized it was supposed to be "experimental" but there obviously had to have a been some pre-planning beforehand (like jori holding up little flashcards and in vid 2). still the main thing i got out of the video isn't anything "experimental" or "groundbreaking" other than the amount of hardware they used at one time. meh.

I thought it sounded better than most "experimental" stuff.
