must say it was a alright listen, its one of those tracks that will play as background music, try and keep a eye on the level of your sounds.. your bass and kick should be higher in volume then the rest. doesnt have to be though, its up to you.

Hey man, sorry it took me so long to reply :)
I like the chord progression you made, to be honest, this track isn't bad at all, you seem to have a good idea of what sounds well together, a huge step up in production :)
Here's something that will make this track sound better; Pan your sounds, make some stuff play a litte to the left, a little to the right, this gives percussion a more 'realistic' feel.

Second you should try experimenting with stereo seperation, you'll notice that some sounds like the kick sound better fully merged, almost mono, while pads and strings sound better if theyre more separated on stereo channels.

Last but not least, pay attention to the volume levels of the seperate tracks, kicks tend to make the whole track more punchy if you turn them up, or turn other stuff down, you'll hear good differences in that :). On the otherhand, it sounds like you already did so, but not exactly the way people are used to :)

Thats all I could give for advice, you have a good idea of structure and such so keep up the good work :)!

wow... thank you... i will try all of that on the tune i'm working on right now... and i always have problems with the kick. i can never get it punchy enough... but then i listen to a lot of idm and chilled out downtempo... and compared to that my kick sounds too loud... and i don't know how to filter it so that it doesn't cut out any of the sound right after the kick... or make the whole track sound like someone turned the volume up 20 clicks when the kick stops... good thing i'm not trying to get signed i guess... =oP
