Oh, I didn't mean that in a negative light. Just stated something odd. |

Not really. Hard to follow or get into and didn't offer anything I would be interested. There was about a ten minute span where it started to get my attention and then faded away like a fart in the wind. Otherwise it acted as my metaphoric razor to the wrist. |

I agree, it's not jubilant at all. minimal tends to be dark sometimes, it all depends on who's playing the records. |

The thing is, I can enjoy minimal when it's done right. Not that I am a huge follower of it, but it has to have some direction just like any other music. This just didn't go anywhere at all. I just hope that his live sets are a little better. Minimal can be great in an intimate setting if the guy knows what the hell he's doing. I would fail miserably at it, so I can't be too hard on the guy. :p |

Great mix and I feel it is fairly accessible for anyone with a little bit of EDM understanding. Shouldn't be hard to get into at all.
Finnegans Wake or Ulysses may be hard to get into or follow but don't go around calling Joyce a author because YOU don't get it. |

Flipside.... Don't go around telling people they can't call Joyce because YOU enjoyed it.
See how that works? This is sort of like when you tell any of us 'trance crackers' that what we listen to sucks. I'm telling you that I thought it sucked.
Diggerz asked for my opinion and he got it. What you consider great talent may not appeal to me and vice versa.
Havng said that, I will resist the urge to say STFU. :wtf: |

| And for the record, I would never say that about Joyce. |

| Of course you wouldn't because then you would be considered uncultured and unintelligent because bottom line is the general consensus among the literary community is that James was on another level. Just like everyone knows Smagghe is one of the best Techno DJs to come out of France period. So STFU. |

Once again, does that mean anything to me? No. Does that mean that my musical knowledge or taste is shallow? No. Just another instance of you expecting everyone to see your point of view without reciprocation, as always. Do you pride yourself on being such an obtuse douchebag in times like these? Geez.... |

Ah, but you can and don't know it (sort of). Marx stated that capitalist society will create more harm than good on social and economic levels and will eventually self destruct. Think our capitalist society is heading down that path? We're closer to it than forty or fifty years ago, imo. I'm not a Marxist. But I always found that little nugget to be interesting in times like these. |
