Hello NYC crew,
I'll be driving to NYC tomorrow with my family. My dad is of course a soccer fanatic so we need to find a place to watch the final match. Our hotel is in New Jersey (teaneck or something), but we'll get to NYC if we have to (or if there's a large crowd somewhere watching).
Any ideas? I'll take my laptop so I can check this thread tomorrow from the hotel.
Thanks guys :) |

Nevada Smith's is the best place to watch, but you have to get there really, really early.
Most pubs in NYC are showing the games. |

If you are with family, the best place to catch a game is 'the Oldcastle'. It's on 54th and 7th, it's friendly and the food is good..
Hey Vern, I take it the games are free right???? |

Thanks guys.
Is the first place (Nevada Smith's) family friendly at all? Too much cursing or what?!! :D
I might just have to check out the Oldcastle to make sure my mom doesn't get freaked out. My dad's a soccer ref up here, so he wouldn't care.. but moms are usually sensitive.
Hope everyone has a good time watching the game. I'm not sure who I'm rooting for... maybe Germany, cause Spain took Italia out... the bastardos:whip:
Cheers :) |

Go to oldcastle. Cursing won't be a problem at Nevada. Your mom will probably get freaked out on how crowded it'll be for the final. |
