I remember when Ferry started DJing.

He SUCKED ASS.

He couldn't mix worth a damn.

Should he have given up? Should have he not tried to learn how to DJ _after_ he become known because of one his tracks?

ignorance please nowadays everyone calls themselfs a dj because of new programs, alot of this new djs never even touched a vinyl or even cds , i am not a dj if i want i can be a dj all i have to do is a get a laptop and i am dj whop di whop. if i want to be a dj i start from the basics .

I use a laptop and I've been djing for close to 8 years now. The medium with which you play makes absolutely no difference, it's your ability to put a set together that makes you a good/bad dj. There's people that have been spinning for years using ONLY turntables and they're still .

Oh yeah and don't trainwreck, it's really REALLY not that hard to beatmatch :wtf:

i dont think just using a laptop will make someone a better dj. set programing just doesnt come out of nowhere, it takes a lot of practice.

all i am talking about is people who have never djed and suddendly they are like i wanna be a dj they get a program and thats it,
