GO VENTURES PRESENTS
THE 16TH ANNUAL GENERATION CELEBRATION
THE LOVE FESTIVAL 2008

SATURDAY AUGUST 9TH, 2008
LOS ANGELES COLISEUM GROUNDS

MAIN STAGE: HOUSE MUSIC
FREEDOM OF THE FUTURE

DIRTY SOUTH
VICIOUS, AUSTRALIA
Over the past 3 years Dirty South has made an instant name for himself
in the dance music industry, impressing the who's who of international DJs,
producers, media and music lovers with his uncanny ability to dish up
ready-made dance floor bombs. This Australian producer has been making
waves worldwide with hits like "Baby I'm Gonna Leave You," "Let It Go,"
and "Better Day.

LAIDBACK LUKE
THE NETHERLANDS
Dutch house music producer/remixer/DJ Laidback Luke has been on fire
the last few years. "Music is an amazing tool that can evoke powerful
memories and emotions," says Luke with a smile. "And I will not rest
until I've given my best: I want to share as much music as possible with as
many people as possible." With over 100+ releases, Laidback Luke has
put out techno, house and electro inspired jams played by every DJ imaginable
from Paul Van Dyk to Roger Sanchez to Eric Morillo. With a nonstop Summer
2008 tour and new releases coming out all the time, it would seem that Luke is well
on the way to achieving his goals.

CEDRIC GERVAIS
SLEAZE RECS./YOOSHI, MIAMI
Cedric Gervais has been one of the biggest DJs ever to come out of Miami.
Since his arrival from France, he has been a resident at Nikki Beach, Crobar, Space
and now he's rocking many dancefloor around the world .But Cedric is also
making waves all over the world with his productions. Previously known for his track
"Burning" and his work with Lenny Kravitz and Duran Duran, his single,
"Spirit in My Life" was released in 2007 and was a staple in the sets of all the major DJ's
and is off his highlyanticipated debut artist album, "Experiment" for Ultra Records.
In addition to his album, he had a hand in one of the biggest tracks of the 2007 WMC
with his remix of Alcatraz " Give me luv" for Yooshi. Cedric recently remixed
one of the major classic Delacy "Hideaway" the new bomb for WMC 2008 which have
been a regular feature on Pete Tong’s Radio 1 show. Without a doubt Cedric Gervais
has already achieved more than most top DJs could ever even hope for, but his reign
is just beginning and he is sure to make even more noise with his music before long.

DJ REZA
GO VENTURES / SATURDAY NIGHT SESSIONS, LA
Unique musical style and charismatic showmanship have distinguished Reza as a
Musical Trendsetter and favored Party Rocker! DJ Reza is responsible for
putting the "Grand" back in "Finale" annually at America’s largest Halloween Spooktacular
“Monster Massive”. Currently DJ Reza is busy touring, producing, shaping and defining
the sound of Go Ventures new record label: “Saturday Night Sessions”.

STAGE TWO: HOUSE AND ELECTRO
PARTY FOR HE PEOPLE

MARK FARINA
GREAT LAKES AUDIO / APT / OM RECORDS, SAN FRANCISCO
Like the lines of a 50’s car, they just don’t make DJ’s like they used to.
Case in point is legendary Om Records mainstay Mark Farina.
Long heralded as one of the top DJ’s in the world, Farina stands as one of the most innovative
selectors of the past two decades.
His story is well known amongst dance music’s faithful underground.
Cutting his chops in Chicago and San Francisco alongside his brother from another mother,
Derrick Carter, the two released their seminal first ‘Live at Om’ double disc in 2004.

JUNIOR SANCHEZ
X-MIX / CUBE REC., NYC
No stranger to the flattery of being imitated, Producer/DJ Junior Sanchez stands way above
the overgrown crowd of Pop-Punk and Electro DJs in the US and the world around. The best
explanation for this? Im not a Pop-Punk or Electro DJ! he exclaims. Indeed, his many styles
and diverse tastes in music breathe life into his sets and bring freshness to the dance floor
that is rarely duplicated.
When it comes to music, its all about tomorrow baby states Sanchez, whose sets, studio tracks
and remixes often take electronic music at large into another realm. His forward-looking philosophy,
however, does not eclipse the fact that this mans yesterday is more impressive than most DJs
in the world could ever hope for.

STEVE AOKI
DIM MAK / STEVE AOKI, LOS ANGELES
Steve Aoki. The man behind Dim Mak Records who founded artists from Bloc Party, The Kills,
The Gossip, Klaxons and many more also is the same man behind the production moniker
Weird Science that has remixed Peaches, Snoop Dogg and Bloc Party. Under his own name,
Aoki has remixed Duran Duran and Timbaland as well as produced original work with internationally
renowned producer, Junkie XL.

BARRY WEAVER
GO VENTURES, SAN DIEGO
With an extensive arsenal of music encompassing everything from Acid House to Zeppelin,
Barry Weaver's knowledge and tastes make for a style-trashing head-on clash of ideas. A firm
foundation based in years of experience and an instinct for what lies ahead allow Barry to mine past
and present alike; connecting, challenging and always pushing the envelope. With an amazing set
of dancefloor-ready, genre-defying tunes, this LA and West Coast veteran will leave you surprised
and awestruck. You’ll likely hear minimal techno, house, electro, disco and acid/house classics
in one of his always original sets.
Barry currently pours his considerable experience and talent into promoting various weekly
and one-off club events. Dos Tres, Electroluxe and Vice/Versa all sought to challenge people's
expectations of what a club night should look, sound and feel like. Tiga, Claude VonStroke, Radio Slave,
Tommie Sunshine, Deadmau5 and Samim are a select few of the many DJs and producers he's introduced
to San Diego over the years.
