Is there a feature in CubaseSX3 to have one MIDI track "mirroring" the other so that changes to one track are copied in the other "linked" MIDI track? |

You can select both channels and then go in the mixer, right click and link channels. |

Hm, they both respond when I press a key on the keyboard but not when reading the midi data from the track.. |

right click the midi part and find "repeat" in the menu. a window will pop up asking how many repeats you want. check the tick box in that window to make linked repeats, then drag these onto the other midi track. now when you edit the midi part you repeated, it will apply to all the repeated instances.
to have two tracks playing at the same time from your keyboard, i think you need to set both of them to enable auditioning. i can't remember and cbf opening cubase. there should be a button. |

Why would you want to do this exactly ? |

if zangief has $5, and you have $5, zangief has more money than you. zangief can also kill two stones with one bird.
do you understand? |

You haven't specified exactly what you're trying to do, but I have a feeling that what you really want is MIDI sends. Unhide the MIDI tracks on your mixer if they're hidden and open up the send panel (make sure it's the 1-8; for some reason the 1-4 and 5-8 send views don't give you anything for MIDI tracks).
From that, you can pick out any other instruments you want to send to. You can put an effect on it, i.e. if you want to transpose one version, or just leave it as is. This isn't actually synchronizing two separate MIDI tracks, you only have one track, but it's effectively the same result.
One caveat is that I don't think you can send to effects, only instruments. Not normally a problem - the only time I've ever want to send to an effect is when trying to automate a filter, and it's easy enough to do that manually. |
