x-session pro...midi problems

bought a x - session pro as i like to do alittle bit of djing now and again. used to use live to mix but you have to do so much work getting all tracks warped etc that i find using traktor is so much better for doing a live mix as its all lined up....
well the problem being that the x-seesion pro will work with live but not with traktor... is there any reason for this? any advice for what would be problem?

Check out the official Traktor forums ("General DJ Discussion", & "Traktor 3") as the use of the X-Session Pro is a frequent topic there.
I use the old X-Session model with Traktor 2.53 - a good combo. I've got the latest Traktor 3.x but have barely tried it, haven't assigned many X-Session functions to 3.x yet.

| ive used the xsession pro with traktor. Try reinstalling your drivers although it should be plug and play i think |

| if you want a pretty good mapped default file for traktor I think i might still have it shoot me a pm. I think the eqs, faders, buttons are mapped, but not the effects and the headphones button near the faders |

| oh and another thing, All the midi functions are not plug and play with traktor, so if you see it coming up in your options, the problem is nothing has been assigned |
