Any good software for mixing?

I already looked at the sticky and all it says is about mixing techniques, and related info about mixing styles, but it doesn't really recommend any programs.
Shini
traktor (what I started with)
Virtual dj
deck-a-dance
etc.

there is a huge list of software that have virtual deck emulation, I would recommend tractor.

you can use ableton live but its a different kind of mixing...rather than using virtual decks you 'warp' your songs (tell the computer where the beats are in them) and it beat matches the tracks for you so you can concentrate more on looping, effects and samples, its a very powerful and flexible application to use if you know how but I think its harder to learn.

software like traktor uses the same principals as hardware decks so if you plan to get a hardware set up then this is a good place to start.

Yeah Tracktors great -very user freindly and when combined with a MIDI mixer it really gives you a proffesional feel without the pricetag. I have the Behringer BCD-3000 MIDI mixer(~$180) and coorelates almost exactly with the Tracktor software setup on screen-
