Hello all, I have been searching for some good trance hihats loops for a looong time. Anyone knows a place where to get trance hihats in any format, WAV, or for a plugin/sampler etc.? Even if they are not free (but free are preferred of course :) ), I need some good sounding trance hihat loops really badly!

thanks:D

First off... this is the DJ booth!
You want the production studio.

To avoid you getting yourself into trouble. Read the FAQ and use search before posting a new thread.

Good luck.

Okay... The forum title said "Post any questions you may have about mixing techniques, samples, software, etc."

If its in the wrong forum I apologise, can a mod move it please? Thanks

This could be relevant for the DJ booth too, he may want to layer them into tracks etc.

But yes, this does sounds more relevant for the production forum.
That said, if you are a producer I would recomend that you learn to write your own percussive sections as you will benefit from it in the long run.
Trance percussion in itself isnt hard to write. The difficult thing to do is to give it drive, and thats a whole different story. Compression, Ducking/Sidechaining, clever use of delay. These are things that can really bring percussion to life. Avoid too much reverb as this can make your tracks drown in high end frequencies.

Also, what is preventing your from sampling your own. Just remember to clear samples if you ever release anything. Otherwise you might end up loosing anything you make. Not to mention that its fair to the original artist too.

Cheers
