Severe thunderstorm warning for
Metro MontrŽal - Laval issued
Radar and satellite pictures show that heavy thunderstorms are
developing south of Cornwall. Gusts exceeding 90 km/h were reported
due to these celles south of the Canada/United States border.
These thunderstorms are moving northeastward and could affect the
above mentioned areas. In addition to the gusts of 90 km/h or more,
these thunderstorms could also generate hail stones of 20 cm or more,
heavy rain and frequent lightning.
Warning...Some of these thunderstorms are particularly intense and
one of them could produce a tornado.

my roommate's plexiglass flew out the window and the rain flooded is floor. lol i had to run 4 floors downstairs and put back the plexiglass. the A/C bracket was blocking the sliding window to close.. oy

Well other than some impressive wind, the storm in Ottawa was a complete let down. No thunder. No lightning. Just some hard rain for about half an hour. Booo!:sadgreen:
