That being said, once both are out on DVD I will likely watch them solely by virtue of how many sound reviews I've heard firsthand of each.

I'm just waiting for the Dark Knight - anyone know if they were able to finish it even though Heath Ledger OD'd?!?

:conf:  :conf:

he finished that movie and that movie will be awesome...ironman was really good and i had no previous interest in the superhero.

The "Heath Ledger died" thread went through about a billion posts asking "Wait, so is the movie in post production?"

The joke is just probably not funny anymore. :clown:

Aright I'm going to spoil a couple of things.

-

Stan Lee makes a cameo appearance (as an old geezer who gets gamma-ray poisoning from drinking a soft-drink into which Hulk's blood accidently got into - leading to knowledge of his location by those who seek it), as well as the guy who played the original Hulk from the TV series (as a security guard).
In the final scene Ironman himself (Bobby Downey Jr.) walks into a darkly lit pub where the confused and somewhat drunken general sips on his "reloaded" drink and informs him he's looking to make a team - the team of course being the Avengers. That, it would seem, suggests there will be an Avengers movie.

A friend informs me Universal started running trailers on TV with RDJr.'s cameo.

I already saw the trailer with Ironman in it for this movie. I will say it got me curious.

i liked the movie. hulk was pretty vicious at the end. i take it the scientist is going to be the next villian.
