The art of mash up mixing!

Any one have any tips on the art of making a mash up mix? Thanks

Double the speed, pitch up at least 4 semitones, when it sounds like a chipmunk getting swung by its tail, layer over another three songs (preferably from the 1980s top forty) and repeat. Place on youtube with a name like "mega monsta techno hiphop mashup" and profit.

Find two tracks in the same key, stick them into Ableton, and start cutting and pasting. Not terribly difficult, but it helps to have some engineering knowledge to make it sound good.

i use what ever works turntables or software! right now im useing mixmeister fusion, live 6 and reaper!

I mashed up Tiesto and Ole Van Dansk,didnt turn out too shabby
