Both sides desperately need a win and might be outside of the tournament if they don't get one. Switzerland maybe slight favourites as they played well on their first match, unlike Turkey - but I believe Turkey didn't show their full potential.
The most interesting thing about this game is that it brings memories of that World Cup qualifier that ended up with a massive battle. :disbelief

Sucks for the swiss who are out, but we're qualified! :D And in first place, which should allow us to avoid Germany in the quarter-finals.
Turkey now only needs a draw against the czech. The czech need to win. (edit: this is wrong, I got mistaken by the commentators, both teams are level in goal-average, I don't know what happens if they draw) |
