Lookin to spend about 200$ any ideas? I'm running an oxygen 49 and grado headphones for studio monitering ( so the 1/4 inch plug would be dope ).
I have firewire and usb ports, The lack of ASIO drivers (meaning like 100 ms latency on my midi) is driving me crazy... any suggestions guys?
thanks for helpin a nub out.

I also have a Dell, and I use the E-MU 0404 USB interface. It's pretty good so far, and runs you like about $200.

I'd suggest you try ASIO4ALL first. I've been using a dell laptop to create music occasionally and they manage pretty well with these drivers. The fact that you don't need to transport the audio interface all the time is always an advantage

Stay away from t.c electronic konnekt series, if you're using a dell. I had problems with audio drop outs and pops for a long time. Then I figured out that if I disabled my dvd drive, it was fine! Well, until I started surfing with my wlan while listening to music.. So disabling wlan is a must aswell.

It works 100% perfectly with my mac mini however. So it's staying. :)
