Thursday in The OC… Blank & Jones have been ruling Deutsche trance for over a decade. This summer the Köln, Germany-based duo drop their 9th studio album, The Logic of Pleasure. The disc features collaborations with Canadian band Stars and New York performance artist Vanessa Daou, revealing not only B&J’s versatility but also their innovation. Saturday in Hollywood… On The Logic of Pleasure, Blank & Jones show you they know a bit about music history and music future. The album has Piet Blank and DJ Jaspa Jones working with Bernard Sumner of New Order and UK electro trio Trademark. If you thought new wave was on the other side of the club from trance, Blank & Jones bring them together and bring you to the floor at Vanguard on Saturday.
