right when i got out of my car and headed for the club, above and beyonds bus pulls up. tony and jono gets out after a while and i head over to greet them. i was trying to get my poster signed by jono cause i already had tony and paavo. jono looks at me, "you got a pen?"...doh, of course i don't have one. so he told me later when i'm inside. and he kept his word. as i got up front, he jono noticed me and came over and signed my poster.
above and beyond were super nice...!! they were really into the crowd...signing and shaking hands. that was funny to see jono crowd surfing at the end. don't really see a trance dj do that.
i don't know...maybe i'm comparing it to their set on saturday...but i felt their set was disappointing. i don't know...i did manage to have a good time, but i just didn't feel the same as i did at ruby skye. bbuutt for 20 bucks and in sacramento, not bad at all. i just really hope they bring in more trance djs cause with gas prices, the drive to SF or LA is just killer...!! |

So true, I haven't been to SF for a long time. I guess next trance dj that is coming to Sacramento is Christopher Lawrence. |

they ended at 2 with an encore of 'good for me'. might come out to see CL, i saw him at pop two years ago and he actually surprised me. but we'll see. |
