R&B is sometimes hip-hop if you think about it. R Kelly lives that hip-hop lifestyle or whatever they classify it as nowadays. His songs are of hip-hop topics. Even if hip-hop is a marketing tool nowadays, ya'll know what I mean.
There's a big difference between R Kelly's R&B and Aretha Franklin's R&B.. that's why the genre is hip-hop/RB
and i guess you COULD call it EDM seeing that they use drum machines and all that to make beats. rarely is the use of live instrumentation employed anymore.

I had that 'Ignition' song in my mind when I wrote hip hop. he is obviously an R & B guy though, you're right, but thats still made electronically and people do dance to it, so its still = a form of EDM. |

they had evidence obviously...I think a lot of people still have the evidence on their computers. :p
