ty decent Storing Samples

| I use a lot of samples when producing and im thinking about storing them on something besides my computer hard drive. I want something small! not a big external hard drive because I already have one. I want something small that I can bring around like a USB key. Im not sure whether its a good idea to get a USB key though.. Im going to be using the samples directly from the KEY into my DAW. Will things get slow here or cause problems? If so maybe a firewire key would be faster if it even exists? any ideas? |

| Most of the USB drives I have used have notoriously slow disk I/O speeds. You may be able to find a fast one though, as solid state drive technology should be fast with a decent quality drive. |
