| Thought the previews for it looked terrible, and judging by the responses here and from a few friends of mine, I'd have to say that sounds just about right. Anyone care to spoil the movie for me? What was his lame "twist" this time around? |

| quote: | Picture “The Birds” without any birds, and that should give you a good idea of what Shyamalan seems to be going for. Suddenly and for seemingly no reason a neuro-toxin is released in the Northeastern United States that causes people to murder themselves in terrible ways. The effect sweeps through different towns and everyone races to escape, unsure of what’s really going on…
It’s plants that are responsible. They’ve decided to wipe out humanity and release the neuro-toxin as their natural weapon…. it’s very, very hard to menacingly cut to an evil-looking tree. That doesn’t stop him from trying, though, and he inexplicably adds wind as a way of livening up the scenes. When the leaves of a tree start to blow, evil’s afoot. It’s really, really hard not to laugh at and there’s even a real groaner of a gag-scene wherein Wahlberg timidly apologizes to a houseplant only to find that it’s made of rubber. Really. |

Didnt watch it. But a friend of mine said it sucked..realllllly baaaad.
Wanted to see it cause I like marky mark..but oh well..another shymalam weak show.
Watched hulk and it was pretty ok. By pretty ok its about a 2.5/5.
I dont like the hulk comics...just plain dumb, but of course...wayy better than the ang lee version.
Sigh, cant remember when I went out of a movie thinking.."Well that was a good show." |

I just had this amazing idea for a movie:
So nature is pissed at us for destroying it, so plants begin producing a substance that causes people to commit suicide have déjà vus. People start acting weird, and soon the phenomenon spreads, with every single person on the planet having a permanent déjà vu. This causes time, which is just a concept of the human mind, to collapse, and sends all of us back in time, to a point before pollution has started. Of course mankind doesn't learn from it and makes the same mistakes again. Therefore, the whole process repeats itself over and over again, making it a genuine déjà vu. Oh, and I'll somehow work a groundhog into it, too.
Edit: tantative title: Déjà happening :gsmile: |
The only plot twist that could have saved this abysmal movie! |

I can't stand the bitch as an actress.
She totally ruined tin man for me. Was a great tv mini series except I kept getting mad at her horrible acting abilities. |
