well to say that there has ever been any kind of 'true nyc culture' is kind of troublesome
anyways i never suggested that this sort of culture was 'real nyc culture', just 'real culture' OK?
whether or not there are a lot of hipster s around, there's definitely more culture than the statue of liberty...

oh it's definitely lively, fun, diverse, and exciting. no doubts about that.
it just doesn't have the cultural edge that cities like berlin, barcelona, etc have
i mean as far as art, music, film, etc go.
i was responding to the word 'culture' in this way, thus my recommendations.
i guess there are a few definitions of culture that are being used here..
yeah if you want "NEW YORK ING CITY" then don't go to most of the places I mentioned :p |
