Review: ATB @ The Guvernment (pg. 4)

So interesting night at the Guv ...
well those of you i saw ... know i had my hands full with my Masha ... im quite literally left with scars...
Well decided to skip the Pre - Drink at the X's for Her birthday ... and hit up guv early and avoid any such possible line and ease into the night ...
it was quite for a bit .. kinda surreal, i actually enjoyed have a few drinks quietly on sky bar with only a few others just around.. mostly staff ...
I then ran into RJ and Margs( so very nice to meet you) we chit chatted for a bit, watched a movie ( name again please).
after we parted ways i went down to mainroom to find Masha and people ...
when we she finally got in due to a delay insufficient id issues and being completely wasted... and when i met up with everyone she was passed off as my responsibility
...
so while on the patio getting her some fresh air ... we ran into Jeff ... Thanks again man ... and it was great chilling out for a bit ...
after that great cigarette Care of Barb Via Jeff ... we headed inside ... for a little atb ... all i can say is i had low expectations going in ... and really i was still disappointed... that silence of a train wreck ... wow ... i think that tells all ... to be fair though i had my hands full for a number of hours and wasnt giving the music my full attention ...but when i did try ... i had a very hard time getting into it ... not to mention i had 2 water bottles poured on me with numberous engravings in my flesh due to Masha lol ...
Once Masha and her booze wore off the night began to become alot of fun ... very much enjoyed what i heard of
Aleksandra's set ( where masha and i met with jeff again, barb, and sasha ... glad we got to talk and dance for a bit ..., also sky bar for a bit of M&S ( thanks for hte picture Jason) had a great time up there dancing away ... then down to the guv with some of our new found friends ... rita and alex... (<3) well down tt he patio for some sunlight and dancing fun times ... "great pics" ....
then at about 630 we were told to go inside ... back into the guv till close ... where me and masha danced till the lights came on ...
well night started out rough ... kinda figured it would ...bu still had a blast at the end ...

Had a really good night. ATB was mediocre, had about an hour where I was feeling it. Acid lounge was where it was at for me. Great times meeting everyone I met. Barb you made my night. Can't wait to do it all over again. |

They had kicked everyone off that table next to the DJ booth and I saw the two of them waiting near that door on the SkyBar and one of the bouncers were being really rude so I kept them company and they were so cute, had no idea where anything was in the Guv complex because I think it was a first for one (or both) of them, so Francesca says she was waiting for her brother, who was at the "bar on the left of the stairs" and I walked them over to you.

My review: just hung out with a few friends for a while and jetted at 2:30. Not much to say about ATB except that I saw him from above (next to the drink) at one point and he was jumping up and down to a screaming crowd and then he trainwrecked (I think the music stopped and he had to play a track from the start). Had I not seen Sasha stepping outside for a smoke I would have never walked downstairs. |
