Because I hate having extra on my lap top that I dont need. Besides then I cant listen to them on my MP3 player and its just annoying. I like to keep my computer super organized and all my music in one spot.
I only use media player - which I actually hate (But hate less then itunes) and Im not technically savy enough to figure out another program lol (mikey and sagar can testify to this) |

thers a way,, u can convert them.. but your not tech savvy like your buddys.. maybe u should get them to help u ! or u can just ask them to convert the *.m4a into *.mp3 and it will work.

i've been asked to post regarding itunes... if you want a single place to put all your music in by far the best system to search, make playlists and all that (also convert podcasts to mp3's in a single click called "convert to mp3) then itunes is for you
you don't need to be tech savvy to use itunes... you would have had the podcast downloaded automatically to your computer (then one click to mp3 if you choose not to use an ipod)
the benefit for me is i can include cover art (that shows up in my ipod) and text for you guys that comes complete in your auto download, sure you can add cover art later but why when itunes does it all automatically for you...
it's so simple but i understand people get caught up in hating apple for various reasons... i for one find things easier, smarter and faster with my mac, ipod and apple household...
to each his, or her, own... but be sure you try it before you hate it

| oh and i would choose touring the world playing the best clubs in diff countries (and tasting the food/culture) any day over playing a residency in the same city... without a doubt... again to each his own... |
