Just put your drink into other bottles.

Pre-mix the alcohol in soda/juice bottles. Get the tetra-pack wine.

lol.

very rare for RJ to ever give points on how to break the law.

remember to have a designated driver!

It's the "year of the beach!"

How come it's the year of the beach?

Are there lots of road blocks in TO during the summers?

My friends and I made the decision to go to Wasaga...

Is it true that you're not allowed to drink on the beach in Ontario?

Let me know, because in Montreal you are?

In Montréal, the law hasn't changed... still no open public drinking, but this law is bypassed by covering your container. This is why when you buy individual cans of beer or wine from a dépanneur, it's wrapped in a paper bag so the contents can not be seen.

But over here, a paper bag over your beer is not enough for a cop to tell you to throw that away or else. Choose an alternate container and you won't get a hassle by anyone.

West - Burlington Beach (under Hamilton Skyway)

ewww! i live in this area and i would never go swimming there. although i did when i was a kid and they have been doing alot of work in that area over the past few years. if you are going to trek it all the way to this area though, i would suggest binbrook conservation or go further south to port dover, turkey point, long point area.

Helpful hint:

Beer cans fit perfectly inside a large fast-food fountain cup.

Place a beer can in an empty cup, apply the lid, insert straw through the lid and into the beer. Add ice if desired.

Voila! Drinking in public, ninja-style.

it's going to be a hot summer! hot weather = beach time!

there are many different events in the summer where they block of streets. like this weekend, little italy was shut down.

lol ooooooppps!

edit: I thought you meant something else by road blocks. ha ha.

ummmmmmmm, drinking and driving is very bad in general. but at wasaga beach you better be scared of the cops around. road blocks all the time.

Me too actually.

Sure beats just pouring my beer into a Timmys or Starbucks large coffee cup (what I usually do).

And thats awesome that you can drink at beach in Montreal, even if its under the terms AJ stated above.

At Grand Bend, they rope off a section of the beach near the buildings and set up tables and sell alcohol (and food). And there's music too.

So you’re actually "drinking on the beach"... but unfortunately its only in that said designated area... not as much fun, i know, but still better than anything legit that you can do at wasaga.

p.s. if you wanna drink or smoke Js at wasaga, leave beach area 1 (the area in front of all the shops/buildings... aka "the main strip") and just walk over to beach area 2... (the area going west in front of the long board-walk). less ppl and you can drink/smoke more freely.

But be warned, the OPP and municipal bylaw officers ALWAYS patrol the actual beach (the sand) on 4x4s... so be savvy...

bc if ur openly displaying drinking or something, ur likely to get caught at wasaga!
