That is pretty much how the show in Dallas went. Not much effort on his part to get the crowd going. People were leaving half way through his set wanting their money back.

I couldn't agree more with you, i was extremely disappointed about his performance, this was my first time watching PVD and it was a total waste of money for me. i think you are right, maybe he played so poorly because of all the uneducated people in the show, oh well but what else can i expect, i bet you that even if he played this track, people would still be screaming and jumping all over the place hahaha

peace

LOL @ San AnCHOLO!!!

I've been fighting the crappy Electro-House demons at LeBlanc on Saturdays. I think Kelly is going to Iraq in the next few weeks. He'll be back soon though.

Where have you been?

Damn good luck on that, Well here's a quick update. After being so frustrated about the music scene here in SA and not having a place to listen to some good electronic music, Jacob and I decided to rent some space near downtown to create our own private lounge. we been working on this for the past several months, its a small place and its not open to the public, just for our parties and for people that we know that want to listen to quality electronic music. So if you are interested in mixing someday and not worrying about bothering your neighbours let me know. This place is available for people that truly love electronic music, theres no cover, we dont sell alcohol since we dont have a TABC license, but since its private we can suggest people to BYOB as long as they are 21+

We are still working in making this place better but here is a preview of whats to come:

Wow, that is really awesome!!! Makes me feel like such a tool for still playing to the scenesters...

I started playing downstairs to keep my sanity though. Been playing darker, techier stuff and its made me a lot happier.

Best of luck on the lounge and I'd definitely love to spin sometime.

I miss the years when I could always count on PvD to deliver one hell of a set and make my night. This lasted from 2001 up until WMC of 2006...after that he's been hit or miss. A gut feeling told me he wouldn't be on his game in S.A. and I never liked the accoustics in that venue. I didn't feel like gambling with hard earned money I needed to pay a few bills with, so I didn't make the effort to go.

Looks like I made the right decision.

I'll be catching his set here in Houston on the 9th for sure, as BenjamenD asked me to play one of the VIP room timeslots. This will be the first time playing in Houston in over two years. Should be a good time and I hope to hell PvD's on his game for this one.

Anyone know the last track he played with live piano?
